Michael Vecchione was born in Youngstown, Ohio and graduated High School
in Boca Raton, Florida…. He played football and placed second in the 1991 AAA state
wrestling tournament…He attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned a
bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and went on to receive a Master’s degree in Special
Education from Cabrini College in Pennsylvania. Mike has worked as a counselor and
Special Education teacher in the Philadelphia area.
At the end of 2003, Michael moved to New York City. He has appeared
on Comedy Centrals Live at Gotham, Comedy Centrals Fresh Face Debates, and
Russell Simmons Presents: Stand Up at the El Rey Theatre. Michael also had a guest
appearance on the IFC hit show Z Rock.
In 2010, Mike won the People’s Choice Award for the New York Comedy
Festival, was a semi-finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and was selected to perform
at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival (New Faces). Later that year, Mike went on
to perform on the Tonight Show starring Jay Leno and shot his own Half Hour Special
for Comedy Central.

His college degrees in broadcasting and Speech have contributed to his professionalism, as well as a warm and engaging rapport. Charlie Wiener has headlined comedy clubs across the United States and Canada for more than 30 years. He has shared the stage with Ellen Degeneres, Bobcat Goldthwait, George Lopez, Gordon Lightfoot, Randy Newman, Meatloaf, Todd Rundgren, America, (the band not the whole country, tho’ close), Jefferson Starship and many, many others. He has performed in 49 states and several provinces of Canada as well as Dublin, Ireland, driving more than two and a half million miles and aging himself by a multiple of six. He is old, broke down and in pain which he bitches about almost constantly but that is what old people do best.
With appearances on A&E, Comedy Central, his own cable shows 'Off The Wall' and 'Wienervision', CBC, NBC, ABC and CBS as well as being heard regularly on XM radio he has brought the concept of having fun while piling on the years to an art form.
With his sharp delivery, quick wit, and identifiable style, Mike Toomey has been a favorite at comedy clubs and special events since 1982. Mike has appeared in concert with such names as Wayne Newton, Crosby, Stills and Nash, and Reba McEntire.
He has performed on numerous television programs including: HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado; MTV's "Half Hour Comedy Hour"; and A&E's "Comedy on the Road." Mike is also the creator and star of the hilarious one-person show "TV & Me," which enjoyed a highly successful run at Chicago's Apollo Theater.
The Chicago Tribune calls Mike, "One of the funniest and most talented performers to ever work in Chicago."
Over the years, David has had the good fortune of writing monologue material for both Bill Mahar on "ABC's Politically Incorrect" and Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night". David has done a ton of radio fill-in for the Cumulus Broadcasting stations in Grand Rapids, MI...97 WLAV FM and has also become a regular guest host on the nationally-syndicated "Bob and Tom Show" out of Indianapolis.
