Penguins Comedy Club located inside The Vault presents The Comedy Monster.
February 21st for one show at 8:00 PM

The comedic hydra, Don Tjernagel takes the stage again, showcasing his talent for raw humor
in his show “The Comedy Monster”. A monster comedian with many sides to his twisted
head takes to the stage once more. While Don Tjernagel’s rare blend of honest observation of
unmentionables usually creates a stir of discomfort, this show may make people cringe outright.
“The Comedy Monster” stand-up show promises to deliver a fully uncensored live performance
for those who like to see a truly unabashed comedian express exactly what he really think.

Don “Donzilla” Tjernagel has run rampant on stages across the country before. Tjernagel started
his stand-up career in 1997 and has continued to figuratively crash his way through audiences
comfort zone ever since. Since his debut in Las Vegas, Don “Donzilla” Tjernagel has fine-tuned
his show. After a brief period of dormancy, Tjernagel has continued to add to and update bits and
pieces to his routine. Now Don “Donzilla” Tjernagel has created a monster of a show for those
willing to sit down and watch as he deconstructs long held institutions with his dirty sense of
humor.

Don “Donzilla” Tjernagel remains “the world’s best and smartest dirty comedian” according
to Richard Lanoie of theseriouscomedysite.com, a recurring reviewer of Tjernagel’s work.
Don “Donzilla” Tjernagel has a singularly dirty mind capable of turning from blowjob jokes
to political statements in one small bound. Furthermore, Don backs up Lanoie’s claim with his
excellent comic timing, insistence on free speech and uncensored material and his continued
dedication to dirty and smutty jokes. The “Donzilla” promises to present a show that upholds the
kind of tasteless filth he and his audiences love.

  • Kevin McCaffery
December 16, 2017 at 8:00 PM Kevin McCaffery
Kevin McCaffrey is a comedian & writer based out of New York City. He made his network TV debut on The Late Show with David Letterman in November of 2013 (after which he was hired to do warm-up for the show), and he currently appears every week on truTV Presents: World’s Dumbest. He has also appeared on VH1’s I Love the 2000s, History Channel’s I Love the 1880s, and The List on the WWE Network. Kevin hosts College Stories with Kevin McCaffrey, a weekly podcast talking to comics, writers, and actors about their time in college, and their best/funniest/craziest stories from that time.

Originally from Chicago, he graduated from Ball State University despite the school’s general policy of taking attendance. Since then he has been a contributing monologue writer for The Late Show with David Letterman. Kevin has also appeared on The Late Show many times as an actor, once being hosed down by Dave with a fire extinguisher. To his knowledge, this is an honor Kevin shares only with Richard Simmons.

When asked to describe his exceedingly unique brand of comedy, Kevin says, “What I do, is I try to say stuff that’s funny.” That’s how avant-garde he is! As a performer, he relies on content more than volume; he’s not the crazy props guy, the crazy angry guy, or the crazy fat guy. At least not yet.
