Penguins Comedy Club located inside The Vault presents Joe Kilgallon.
April 26th
Show Time 7:30 PM

Feature Joe Kilgallon

Born and raised in Chicago, Joe Kilgallon has been performing stand-up comedy since 2006. With a background in improv and sketch writing, Joe fuses well-polished material with riffing and crowd work to construct a perfectly well-rounded act. His in-your-face style and charismatic charm help Joe paint stories drawn heavily from personal experience and his Chicago-Irish roots, making him an instant favorite and the type of comedian everyone wants to share a drink with after the show.

In 2011 Joe hit the road hard performing in cities across the country including L.A., New Orleans, Washington D.C., St. Louis, Cleveland, and even a stop in Toronto, Canada.

Joe is also a proud member of the Comedians You Should Know (www.comediansyoushouldknow.com), a group of six Chicago based stand-up comedians who released an album in February of 2011 that debuted at number one on the I tunes comedy charts.
Headliner Act Tim Sullivan

Tim Sullivan is one of the country’s most traveled stand-up comedians. Tim has recorded two CD’s and three DVD’s. His most recent Bigger Than Ashton is a humorous take on fellow Cedar Rapids, Iowa native, Ashton Kutcher. Tim has entertained audiences from the Improv in Chicago to the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles as well as the U.S. Armed Forces. Tim combines hyper attention type disorder with an amusingly acute take on life for one of the highest intensity shows in stand-up, making him an audience favorite.

Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa Tim began his comedy career at the age of 19 traveling from town to town throughout the Midwest.  By the age of 21 Tim had moved to the Pacific Northwest where he learned from veteran comedians and honed his craft. Soon thereafter Tim moved to Los Angeles where he was a regular on the stages of the Comedy Store and the Laugh Factory.  Tim has also made appearances on the N.B.C. show Spy-TV and the H.B.O. series John From Cincinnati. Tim has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy and entertainment like Louie Anderson, Kevin Pollack, Jim Breuer, Mick Foley, Harland Williams, Norm MacDonald, Mark Paul Gosselaar, Luke Perry, Lois Guzman and Pauly Shore to name a few.

  • Doug T Hypnotist
    August 12, 2016 at 8:00 PM Doug T Hypnotist

After touring as a stand up comic for years Doug wanted a new way to create a better show and entertain more people. That is when he started studying hypnosis and all different types of ways to hypnotize people.   Doug wanted to take Comedy Hypnosis to the next level by creating a show that is different from all of the rest. He adds in his quick wit and spot on impressions to make the show fun from beginning to end. His comedy background is a large part of this ability. He has toured and still tours with some of the big names in comedy. Some of the names include Pauly Shore, The Impractical Jokers from TruTV, Jennifer Coolidge (Stifler's Mom), Tim Wilson, Greg Hahn, MIke MacRae, and many more.....

Working in some of the greatest theaters around the country has put him in front of thousands of people.  He also keeps his shows family friendly due to the large amount of corporate events and Colleges he works with. When asked about if volunteers on his show should be worried about coming on stage his response was simply " I treat the volunteers on stage the way I would want my wife and daughters treated, with respect and dignity! "  That is why Doug has become one of the most requested in the nation for corporate events, Colleges and High Schools.  ESPN selected him to be a Bowl Game entertainer for teams at the Compass Bowl in Birmingham, AL.  Finding a way to make people forget about the stresses of life and laugh through his 75 to 90 minute show is what DougT lives for......

  • Dwight York
August 19, 2016 at 8:00 PM Dwight York

“I hope you like jokes” may seem an absurd way for a comedian to begin a show but those are the words that comedian Dwight York uses to introduce himself to his audience each night. Then the joke-slinging begins and never ends until York says “goodnight” a couple hundred perfect one-liners later.

Dwight York performs at many of the nation’s top comedy clubs and every summer headlines the Buffalo Chip Comedy Club at the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. He has appeared at the Great American Comedy Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was a two-time finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Contest. In October of 2014, he placed 2nd at the Laughlin Laugh Fest.

York has also been a favorite guest on the nationally syndicated The Bob and Tom Show and was featured on their CD, You Guys Rock. York’s CD Quickies (Stand Up! Records) can be heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s Raw Dog Comedy Channel and was rated a “top ten comedy release of the year” by The Serious Comedy Site. Laffspin Magazine says that Dwight York, as inventive as he is suggestive, is what Steven Wright would be if Wright had Robert Schimmel’s blue streak, and that’s a  compliment to all three master comics.
