May 17th and 18th
Show Time 7:30 PM
Born in Kentucky and dragged throughout the south before settling in Indiana to be raised in a trailer, Mikey Mason has a diverse background to draw material from. With his abnormal childhood, five siblings, two marriages, two children, multiple pets, college experiences, and many career changes (ranging from fast food, to working at a funeral home, to teaching middle school, high school and college, as well as working with at-risk youth,) he’s got a lot to talk—and sing—about.
Mikey went from performing in bands and sketch and improv comedy troupes to performing standup over the last 15 years. He’s performed at Crackers, the Comedy Caravan, Wiley’s, Comedy Niteclub, Snickerz Comedy Bar, Mason City Limits, Go Bananas, and One Liners, as well as many bars, clubs, fraternities, and private parties in and around the Midwest. He’s performed with Todd Yohn, John Fox, Rob Haney, Lord Carrett, Steve Iott, Troy Davis, Chris Speyrer, Tracey Tedesco, and Tim Rowlands, among others, and has made multiple regional television and radio appearances. With a strong stage presence, infectiously hilarious songs, and a wit almost as fast as his mouth, Mikey is an unforgettable performer.
Mikey draws the audience in with his saucy, irreverent blend of storytelling and outrageous songs. No subject or musical style is off limits. From country to rock, pop to rap, religion to
relationships, politics to childhood insecurities, Mikey is unabashed, unafraid, and unquestionably funny.

Brian specializes in giving every audience a hilarious and singular comedic experience. His unique talent consists of clever material and unparalleled audience interaction, which he combines seamlessly with his lightning quick wit. Brian has incredible instincts and an undeniable ability to make audiences laugh.
Michael Thorne is an amalgam of culture and white trash raised on a greasy silver spoon in a borough of Minneapolis aptly nicknamed “Nordeast”. He has brought his hilarious observational insights on evolution, (or lack thereof), human relations, marriage & parenthood to backwoods barrooms, colleges, casinos and A-list comedy clubs from coast to coast & border to border. Michael grabbed the attention of LA bigwigs at one point who urged him to leave Minnesota to further his career. “You’re the funniest thing out of the Midwest. Now get out of the Midwest.”
But Michael favors the Midwestern family life. He will take you on a wild and hysterical tour of the minefield that is his life. Michael has shared the stage with comedy legends Steven Wright, the late Bill Hicks and the late Mitch Hedberg.

Christine can best be described as one funny mother! She has a husband, a twenty-something son who lives at home, a divorced daughter and three grand-kids. This gives her a full portfolio of material to draw from. A lot of people ask Chris why she began a career in comedy so late in life. Well, it’s not a coincidence that she started immediately after her daughter began having babies! Chris does not like to baby-sit! Sure, traveling around the country telling jokes to drunks in smoky nightclubs was not the most practical way to get out of baby-sitting, but she decided it was definitely worth a try. (It was either that, or go to truck-driving school and she hates the way she looks in flannel shirts! ) So far, this desperate attempt to distance herself from family obligations has worked out quite nicely. She’s come a long way from her early years in comedy.
She currently headlines in some of the top clubs in the country and has become a favorite at “The Comedy Stop” in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. In 2006, she was chosen to compete in Nick at Nite’s Search for the Funniest Mom in America. She appeared in six episodes and made it all the way to the finale where it came down to only 5 finalists. Ok, she didn’t win—-but just ask anyone who has seen her perform and they will tell you that she is definitely one funny mother!
