Penguins Comedy Club located inside The Vault presents Tony Boswell
July 26 and 27
Shows at 7:30 PM

Tony Boswell entered the world a small, scared infant. Over the next two decades he put on some weight and grew taller. Then in 1986 he began performing stand-up comedy. Since then he has appeared in over 35 states and Canada with more than 3000 performances to his credit. He has been featured in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, The Seattle International Comedy Competition, The New Orleans' Comedy Festival, The Boston Comedy Festival and on Comedy Central, Comedy on the Road, KSHB's Kansas City Comedy Hour, Night Shift, and National Public Radio and in the films, The Babe and Meet the Parents.

So how did that waif with no verbal skills whatsoever become one of the premier comedians working today? What started in fun ended in, well… fun. Like an E! True Hollywood Story just before the half-hour commercial break, Tony had hit bottom. After dropping out of the University of Illinois, he had moved home with his mother. Not sure what to do with his life he began taking classes at The Player's Workshop of Second City in Chicago, an improv school whose alumni include such notables as Bill Murray, George Wendt and Shelly Long. Needless to say, he was hooked. Upon graduation from the Workshop he appeared in the sketch-comedy show Flame as well as The Adventures of Sinbad and Dreams of Gold and Pearls at the Children's Theatre of Second City.

Tony is a founding member of The Department of Works Comedy Ensemble whose other members included Andy Dick of News Radio and Comedy Central's Matt Walsh. With the "Department of Works" he produced and co-directed two successful shows, No Perversities Added and The Three Dollar Show. After a two year run, the individuals in the group split up to pursue their separate careers, Tony choosing stand-up comedy.

Tony currently travels the country as a stand-up comedian. He performs at comedy clubs as well as corporate shows nationwide. His show provides hilarious hi-jinks and onstage antics mixed with intelligent sarcasm. His good-natured approach towards the audience makes him a favorite nationwide.

OTHER GREAT SHOWS!

  • FORGETABOUTIT Italian Comedy - starring Vincent
"Forgetaboutit Italian Comedy" starring Vincent "Big Pussy" Pastore of the Sopranos and Goumba Johnny Sialiano.

If you're Italian, a Sopranos fan, or just enjoy ethnic Italian humor this show is a must see. And for all you "wanna be" actors in the audience you can volunteer to come on stage and act out a scene with Vincent from one of the Sopranos episodes. Vinny talks about growing up in the Bronx and how he got into acting, the roles he's had and the actors he'd worked with. Audience members are handed a script and he directs them as how they should portray their respective character. If you think the comics are funny wait until you see the audience volunteers trying to act like mobsters. Forgetaboutit !

Vinny  a wonderful story teller and accomplished film & Broadway actor, is surrounded by 2 excellent Italian stand up comics / actors, Goumba Johnny Sialiano. Johnny hosted his own NYC radio show and was a former football player for the NY Giants and Jets who became a stand up comic after he quit football due to injuries.

VINCENT “BIG PUSSY” PASTORE breakout role in the HBO award winning series “The Sopranos” lead him from his early days of performing in Community Theater, running discos and owning rock and roll bars in New Rochelle NY to becoming the household name of "Big Pussy". He was encouraged to pursue film acting by Kevin and Matt Dillon who frequented his bars in the 80's, Vincent landed his first major film with Nancy Savoca's award winning film "True Love" and then he was on his way. Working on “Americans Most Wanted”, “Law and Order”, “One Life to Live”, “Good Fellas”, “Awakenings” and “Regarding Henry”, plus many other projects on the small stage in New York City, until he landed his first major role as Tony Scarboni opposite Alan Arkin in “The Jerky Boys”. After that “Gotti”, “Witness to the Mob” then “The Sopranos”, followed. He went on to do the films “Made”, “Serving Sara”, “The Hurricane” and “Two Family House” to name just a few. Recently Vincent has appeared in "CHICAGO" and in the Woody Allen play "Bullets over Broadway" and is now part of the Broadway community.

“GOUMBA JOHNNY” SIALIANO is a comedian, actor, and radio host who played for both the New York Jets and New York Giants. After retiring due to injury, he established “Broadway Bodyguards” and escorted celebrities such as Smokey Robinson, Sam Kinison, and Malcolm Forbes. With his natural quick wit and charm, Johnny has joined the ranks of other comedians by performing stand-up at popular comedy clubs like Caroline’s, Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, and the Borgata.

  • Tim Cavanagh
February 24, 2018 at 8:00 PM Tim Cavanagh
In 1997, Tim released his first CD, "Sounds Like Fun!" By then he had become a regular guest on "The Bob & Tom Show," a nationally syndicated radio show now heard in 150 markets. For two years, Tim did a weekly segment on the show called "The One Minute Song," which spawned two more CDs released on Tim's own label, Hits & Giggles Records. At a recent Hits & Giggles awards dinner, Tim was recognized by the label as their "Best Artist," an award he has won three out of the last four years. Even though he is the only act on the roster, a misty-eyed Cavanagh was quoted as saying, "It's still a big thrill."

As for television, Tim has not only appeared on Comedy Central, he was chosen by the network to do several live performances for their clients and customers. His national appearances on ABC-TV, Showtime, WGN, and Comcast have helped Tim deal with his biggest TV disappointment--calling QVC seconds too late to get a great deal on a colander set.

  • Cindy Kaza - Medium
February 28, 2018 at 7:00 PM Cindy Kaza - Medium
Cindy Kaza is an evidential medium.  Evidential mediumship is a style of mediumship practiced around the world that puts heavy weight on the medium’s ability to bring through extremely specific evidence to the sitter. This evidence can include, but is certainly not limited to, names, personality traits, physical ailments, favorite past times, and phrases often used by loved ones in spirit. The purpose of this style of mediumship is to diminish skepticism among sitters and to prove that the medium is truly connecting with the client’s loved ones in spirit.

Cindy has been extremely intuitive since very early childhood.  At the age of 10 she had her first memorable experience with a spirit. Days after losing a childhood friend in a fatal car accident, Cindy woke up in the middle of the night to see her friend standing next to her bed. At the time, she dismissed this experience and convinced herself it was just a dream.  It wasn’t until her early 20’s that she realized she was having psychic and mediumistic experiences all along. During this “awakening” she began searching for answers and reasons for her experiences and became aware of her multi-faceted abilities as a psychic medium.  She began training not only in the United States but also at the Arthur Findlay School of Intuitive Sciences in Stansted, England. She believes in compassionately sharing her gift with others while also opening up others to the gifts they too possess and that everyone is inherently intuitive and able to feel Spirit!
