So, did you hear the one about the high school teacher who walked into a comedy club--and they hired him? That's where the Tim Cavanagh comedy story begins. For a full year, Tim taught teenagers by day. By night, he sang his funny songs in Chicago comedy clubs. "Not surprisingly, I found the biggest difference between the classroom and the nightclub was the drunks--which I generally let the principal handle," Tim says.

Since leaving the classroom, Tim Cavanagh has brought his comedic songs and inventive stand-up to concert halls, corporations, college campuses and nightclubs across America. Over the years, he has also made several trips to Canada, where he has to convert all his jokes to Celsius and his one degree in philosophy becomes a bone-chilling minus 31. He has even performed on the island of St. Lucia, his first time ever doing comedy in the Atlantic Standard time zone, where they got his jokes one hour sooner than they would have in New York.

Early on, it was Tim's funny songs that got a lot of attention. His song, "I Wanna Kiss Her (But She Won't Let Me)," was the first of Tim's pieces to receive national radio exposure, on the legendary "Dr. Demento" show. Other songs followed, including "99 Dead Baboons," "Get Drunk with Dignity," and "Really Safe Sex." His funny music has been heard on radio stations everywhere, as well as on XM Satellite and even the BBC.

In 1997, Tim released his first CD, "Sounds Like Fun!" By then he had become a regular guest on "The Bob & Tom Show," a nationally syndicated radio show now heard in 150 markets. For two years, Tim did a weekly segment on the show called "The One Minute Song," which spawned two more CDs released on Tim's own label, Hits & Giggles Records. At a recent Hits & Giggles awards dinner, Tim was recognized by the label as their "Best Artist," an award he has won three out of the last four years. Even though he is the only act on the roster, a misty-eyed Cavanagh was quoted as saying, "It's still a big thrill."

As for television, Tim has not only appeared on Comedy Central, he was chosen by the network to do several live performances for their clients and customers. His national appearances on ABC-TV, Showtime, WGN, and Comcast have helped Tim deal with his biggest TV disappointment--calling QVC seconds too late to get a great deal on a colander set.

  • Mark Sweeney
May 05, 2018 at 8:00 PM Mark Sweeney
This Comedy Central veteran turns topics as intergender relationships and golf inside out with his sarcastic and witty brand of hilarity. A native of St. Louis, Mark mixes Midwest convictions with wise-guy attitude. Always a tad irreverent, Mark Sweeney has a way of making even the victims of notorious attention laugh about their shortcomings. The four years he spent in the U.S. Marines were forgettable, either that or he just can't remember them. Though his military history is a bit fuzzy, he's constantly being reminded that at some point he attended college, which is why he's still on the run from the student loan collectors. Mark's credits also include acting roles in Boston Public, The Visitor, and Days of Our Lives. Mark is a long-time Funny Bone favorite and an acknowledged attraction at corporate events.

  • Grant Lyon
May 12, 2018 at 8:00 PM Grant Lyon
Starting his career in the vibrant San Francisco comedy scene, San Francisco Weekly described Grant as “a hilariously sharp observer, not one of those tired white-guy bellyachers.” A former collegiate soccer player, Grant decided to pursue a career on stage instead of on the field. In 2014, he won the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival beating out comedians from all over the country, and was chosen as a New Face in comedy at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. As well as performing in a number of other prestigious comedy festivals including The Great American Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival, and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Grant performed on the TV show Comics Unleashed. He has appeared on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show and is heard regularly on Sirius/XM satellite radio. • Dustin Diamond - Screech from Saved by the Bell
    ONE NIGHT ONLY!

He played the bad guy on Celebrity Fit Club and has been hailed as the “Dark Prince of Comedy”.  Dustin Diamond is a pop culture icon, and is best known for his role as Screech on Saved by the Bell.  Dustin played Screech through all 10 seasons of the show, and to this day, Saved by the Bell is still seen in syndication 16 times per week in 105 countries.
For the past 17 years, Dustin has toured the world as a stand-up comedian.  His act is suitable for the now grown-up fans of Saved by the Bell.  It is adult-oriented, hilarious, and definitely not the same squeaky-clean, Saturday morning comedy that he spent 10 years doing as Screech.  In his act, Dustin touches on life’s most important topics – grandma porn, farts, and the secrets of the female sex.
In addition to stand-up comedy, Dustin has been involved in reality television, indie movies, and numerous other projects.  Most recently, he played himself in Better Reach Screech, The Nerdist’s parody of Breaking Bad.  He appeared on the British reality series Big Brother, and was also seen on Oprah’s Where Are They Now?, in which he touched upon topics such as his tell-all book Behind the Bell, and other previous media stunts.
Dustin’s other interests include playing video games, following all things “nerdy,” and playing the bass guitar. For more on Dustin and to hear what he has to say, you can follow him on Twitter, @dustindiamond.
