What happens when a baby boomer happily residing in a closet, deep in the recesses of his mind, filled with sixties memorabilia wakes up to find he has been married several times and is the father to two daughters of voting age? Where did the good times go? What’s a mortgage? How did his old nemesis, Reality, find him? Who will win the battle royal for control of his life, responsibility (Yuck) or his mind?! CHARLIE WIENER joins the hilarious struggle each night live on stage as he rants and harangues against that which would make him give up the life he has chosen and have to find adulthood and a regular paycheck.
Through three musical albums, headlining gigs in comedy clubs and colleges throughout this great land of ours, hosting two television shows, WIENERVISION and OFF THE WALL, and appearing on such shows as A&E’s Evening at the Improv, CHARLIE WIENER has proven over and over again that there is nothing more hysterical than an old hippie coming to grips with everyday situations we’ve had to deal with all along. He has been considered one of the top comedians working the club circuit for the past ten years. For one of the most freakishly, wild and comical evenings you will ever have, with all the subtlety of a howling monkey, it’s CHARLIE WIENER to the rescue. You’ll find out your life isn’t really so bad.

He adds in his quick wit and spot on impressions to make the show fun from beginning to end. His comedy background is a large part of this ability. He has toured and still tours with some of the big names in comedy. Some of the names include Pauly Shore, The Impractical Jokers from TruTV, Jennifer Coolidge (Stifler's Mom), Tim Wilson, Greg Hahn, MIke MacRae, and many more.....
Working in some of the greatest theaters around the country has put him in front of thousands of people. He also keeps his shows family friendly due to the large amount of corporate events and Colleges he works with. When asked about if volunteers on his show should be worried about coming on stage his response was simply " I treat the volunteers on stage the way I would want my wife and daughters treated, with respect and dignity! " That is why Doug has become one of the most requested in the nation for corporate events, Colleges and High Schools. “I hope you like jokes” may seem an absurd way for a comedian to begin a show but those are the words that comedian Dwight York uses to introduce himself to his audience each night. Then the joke-slinging begins and never ends until York says “goodnight” a couple hundred perfect one-liners later.
Dwight York performs at many of the nation’s top comedy clubs and every summer headlines the Buffalo Chip Comedy Club at the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. He has appeared at the Great American Comedy Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was a two-time finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Contest. In October of 2014, he placed 2nd at the Laughlin Laugh Fest.
York has also been a favorite guest on the nationally syndicated The Bob and Tom Show and was featured on their CD, You Guys Rock. York’s CD Quickies (Stand Up! Records) can be heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s Raw Dog Comedy Channel and was rated a “top ten comedy release of the year” by The Serious Comedy Site. Laffspin Magazine says that Dwight York, as inventive as he is suggestive, is what Steven Wright would be if Wright had Robert Schimmel’s blue streak, and that’s a compliment to all three master comics.
