Standing 6’6” tall, and clad in a well-tailored suit and trademark black horn-rimmed glasses, Drew Hastings is a commanding presence onstage, as he launches into a study of the human condition.
Hastings’ trademark comedy is both hilarious and self-deprecating. He believes that we are our own worst enemy —
“My middle name should be Versus…”
His angst about his failures as a human, real or perceived, are obvious.
Observational humor and commentary on American modern life is Drew’s creative wheelhouse.
“Why is it that when gay men act like women, they always seem to act like the kind of women no one really likes?”
Hastings is part stand-up comic, part raconteur and serious dramatic writer/performer.
Born in Casablanca, Morocco and raised in Ohio by a British mother, Drew brings to every performance a down-to-earth Midwest sensibility peppered with British aloofness and condescension. Elitist and populist, Hastings’ eye catches it all.
“Isn’t it ironic that the finest coffees in the world come from countries where no one has a reason to get up in the morning?”
Prior to becoming a comedian at age thirty-one, Drew¹s vocational endeavors included a trucking business, document shredding startup and a few ill-fated archaeological expeditions. A bona fide polo player in both Washington D.C. and Cincinnati, Drew’s passion was curtailed by a shoulder injury and a sudden change in finances.
Drew moved from Ohio to Los Angeles in the mid-90’s, where the entertainment industry took notice. His acting talent earned him a number of guest-starring roles in several Hollywood television pilots.
Hastings is regularly booked on network talk shows for personal appearances, and is a member of an elite group of performers to have received a standing ovation on “The Tonight Show.”
Hastings storied and colorful life has been the inspiration for several one-person shows. Most notably his fictitious Tony Robbins’ tinged character “Jack Freeman” of “The Business of Living” found an immediate cult following in Los Angeles.
“Jack” soon caught the attention of the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show, where the hilarious Freeman was introduced to a national audience.
Drew’s appearances were so well-received that he soon became a regular guest. In addition to his regular comedy touring, Drew also headlines on “The Bob and Tom Comedy All-stars Tour.”
Currently Hastings pens a weekly newspaper column and is finishing a compilation of humorous short stories.
Hastings is also a farmer, and owns and operates a cattle farm in southern Ohio. In this rural environment, Hastings has developed a large following of new fans who appreciate his eye for the humor in his fish out of water new life, as Drew regales his fans with true tales about farm living and the local characters he comes in contact with daily.
Drew’s current one-hour Comedy Central special, “Irked and Miffed,” debuted to over a million viewers on the network, and remains a top-ranked online download.

June 21 and 22
Show time 7:30 PM
Known as Uncle Lar', Larry Reeb is the wise-cracking black sheep, politically incorrect relative everyone knows. Like any concerned relative Uncle Lar' wants to help. So in his own twisted way he does. He gives you "tips". Uncle Lar' offers tips on everything from marriage to lotteries to children. Always topping them off with, "That's a tip from your Uncle Lar'."
Reeb is a strong, distinct, classic character, with sarcastic attitude and a sardonic wit. He conveys his concepts with rapid fire one liners. "It's a sick world and I'm a happy guy", Reeb proudly announces after stating his particularly twisted observations. Reeb didn't invent obscene phone calls or adultery, but he makes his living talking about them. In a perfect world Uncle Lar' would be unemployed.
Where others cringe, Reeb thrives. His sharp wit was custom built to handle hecklers. During a performance a regretful drunk once shouted "talk about sex." Larry retorted, "your parents shouldn't have had it", and of course capped it with, "that another tip from your Uncle Lar'."
Uncle Lar' is a regular on "The Bob & Tom Show", syndicated in over 100 markets. Larry has been voted Chicago Comedian of the Year, and has made numerous television and radio appearances.
His tips are tops. his inflections infectious. And the fans are fanatics. Reeb's cult-like clan can't get enough. Whether he's headlining comedy clubs, colleges or conventions, his wit is universally appealing. Relatively speaking, everyone travels from everywhere to see their Uncle Lar'.

July 05, 2013 at 7:30 PM Brad StewartPenguins Comedy Club located inside The Vault presents Brad Stewart
July 5 and 6
Show Time 7:30 PM
Since that time Brad has performed at many different clubs and theaters all over the country to rave reviews. From The Nokia Theater in Los Angeles to the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City, Brad has entertained many diverse audiences with his high energy, observational style of humor.
In early 2010 Brad had the honor of becoming a favorite opening act for comedy legend Joan Rivers. Joan says Brad is "so talented and a joy to work with"(in case you missed that quote in big read letters in the upper right). Brad has also opened for The Temptations, Jon Lovitz, Keith Sweat, The O'Jays and 80's rockers Loverboy.
Brad's comedy is a mix of his observations about life and his love/hate relationship with pop culture. Music is a big love of Brad's and a lot of his comedy comes from his frustrations with the state of popular music which should be relatable to anyone with ears. -
