John Roy began his career performing in independent rooms in Chicago. After honing his act in clubs around the Midwest, John was crowned the first champion of CBS’ “Star Search,” in 2003.He has appeared on numerous television shows, including “Conan,” “@midnight,” “The Tonight Show,” “The Late, Late Show” and “Last Comic Standing.”
 

     John has written on projects for Comedy Central and MTV, and co-written numerous videos for Funny or Die, including the IFC web series “Maron in Space.” In addition, John has been a creative consultant on national ad campaigns for Apple, NBC Sports, and Mitsubishi, including spots that aired during the Super Bowl.

     John’s CD “Dressed for Recess,” was released in 2008 on RBC Records. His second, “Alexander Hamilton,” was released on AST Records in 2013. Both are heard on Sirius XM radio.

      John is a national touring headliner across North America. He performs in numerous clubs including Gotham in New York and the Improv in Hollywood. He is also a regular performer on acclaimed independent shows like “Whiplash,” “Hot Tub,” and “Meltdown.”

     John’s Podcast, “Don’t Ever Change” is on the Feral Audio network, and has featured Dan Harmon, Kumail Nanjiani, and T.J. Miller.

     John was a guest at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, the Just For Laughs Festival in Chicago, The Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, and Laugh Fest in Grand Rapids. John also appeared in the High Plains, Limestone, and Bridgetown Comedy Festivals.

    He’s known as the ultimate stand up act at clubs, colleges, and theatres across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and The United Kingdom.  He has shared the stage with comedy legends, Dave Chappelle, and Chris Rock!  Sinbad, Howie Mandel, The Muppets, Jimmy J. J. Walker, Bill Maher, and Brad Garrett from ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’.  He has opened for Celine Dione, Dionne Warwick, Harry Connick Jr. and Luther Vandross at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.  He regularly headlines at Planet Hollywood, The MGM, and the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City and Las Vegas.  You may recognize him from his numerous T.V. appearances.  Shows like Premium Blend on Comedy Central, Comics Unleashed and Comedy T.V. with Byron Allen.  He is a four time veteran of the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and a YouTube sensation with over 4 million hits!

    Michael Winslow had his first television appearance on The Gong Show in which he squeezed in sound-a likes of Benji the movie dog, Star Trek, and Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze”. Winslow, who was born on September 6, 1958 in Spokane, Washington, played the role of the Radar Operator, who was in charge of the radar and could imitate realistic sounds using his own voice. He is best known for his role as Sgt. Larvelle “Motor Mouth” Jones in the Police Academy series of movies and TV shows. In 1985, Island released a 12″ of Michael Winslow titled “I Am My Own Walkman”. He also appeared as a radar operator in the movie Spaceballs, in which he performs all the sound effects during his scene himself. Mel Brooks (who wrote, directed, produced, and co-starred in the film), stated that by doing so, Winslow saved the film money. Winslow is also a motivational speaker. Since the fall of 2008, Winslow has hosted the motion picture television series called “Way Back Wednesday with Winslow” on the cable super station WGN America, which features movies mostly released in the 1980s. Michael continues to perform stand-up comedy around the globe.
